German Patent and Trade Mark Office and Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Patentinformationszentren e.V. announce a nationwide campaign week (PIZnet Aktionswoche) in November
Press release of 10 October 2024
Munich. The German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the Association of German Patent Information Centres (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Patentinformationszentren e.V. - PIZnet e.V.) announce this year's campaign week, which will take place nationwide from 18 to 22 November - for the first time at the same time as Gründungswoche Deutschland 2024 (Global Entrepreneurship Week Germany). The aim of the initiative is to provide companies, start-ups and founder teams with comprehensive information about the importance and use of intellectual property rights such as patents, utility models, trade marks and designs.
At a time when innovation and creativity are decisive competitive factors, intellectual property rights are an indispensable instrument for securing entrepreneurial success. This applies in particular to start-ups and young companies that want to establish themselves with their products in competition with third parties. The PIZnet network is organising the nationwide action week especially for such companies and young start-up teams, but also for all small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have little previous experience in the field of intellectual property or do not yet have their own IP department. The German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) developed the concept of the campaign week together with PIZnet and it has already been very well received in previous years.
During the campaign week, interested companies are given the opportunity to take part in a personal, individual and neutral orientation consultation on the potential of intellectual property in their company. This orientation meeting is not legal advice.
The exclusive and free offer during the campaign week includes:
- a brief two-hour analysis of all company-specific IP areas
- an initial assessment of the IP situation in the company and the associated economic opportunities and risks
- joint evaluation on the optimal utilisation of IP in the company and thus the development of approaches for strategic competitive advantages
- an auditor report including valuable information for optimising the company's IP situation
The PIZnet Action Week is a unique opportunity to acquire practical knowledge about intellectual property and innovation strategies. It supports start-ups and SMEs in successfully bringing their business ideas to market and securing them for the long term.
Arrange your individual and free consultation appointment today for the PIZnet Action Week from 18 to 22 November at the PIZ in your region!
