a) Data processing
The premises at Cincinnatistraße 64 + 66 and at Zweibrückenstraße 12 are under non-stop (24/7) CCTV surveillance by the DPMA as the entity responsible for exercising proprietary rights (Hausrecht), for preventing offences and for preserving evidence in the event of offences committed in the publicly accessible outdoor area.
In this context, video footage is taken of persons and vehicles, with the date, time and location of the recording being provided.
(b) Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for the processing of the above data is Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. e 1st alt., para. 2 and 3 GDPR in conjunction with § Section 4 para. 1 no. 1 and 2 BDSG (publicly accessible areas) and Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. e 1st alt., para. 2 and 3 GDPR, Section 3 BDSG (non-publicly accessible areas).
(c) Purpose of data processing
CCTV surveillance is used to ensure domiciliary rights/building and facility security, to protect people and properties from acts of violence, theft and vandalism and to preserve evidence in the event of legal violations and criminal offenses.
(d) Period of storage
The CCTV footage taken of the premises at Cincinnatistraße 64 + 66 is stored for a period of four days, after which it will be automatically overwritten.
If it is necessary for a police procedure or preliminary or legal proceedings, the footage will be stored separately and will not be deleted until it is no longer needed for the procedure or proceedings.
The CCTV surveillance of the premises at Zweibrückenstraße 12 is not recorded and stored.
(e) Transmission of data to third parties
The data mentioned above are transmitted to third parties only if and to the extent their transmission is required for litigation or prosecution. The data are not transmitted for other non-commercial purposes or for commercial purposes.
